Praise for Our Philadelphia Accommodations
Our Guests Review The Rittenhouse
We are proud of the way that our guests feel about their time spent in the Philadelphia accommodations at The Rittenhouse. Here are just a few words they have been happy to share with us about our Philadelphia Center City hotel's location, hospitality and exceptional staff.
"Fabulous"
Outstanding facility with first class amenities and décor throughout. Great staff/customer ratio. Impeccable cleanliness. Generous, well maintained rooms. Beautiful bathroom with tub and walk in shower. The pretzel upon arrival is a nice touch. Here’s a tip: you will want more pretzels later. Order them up early. They are only baked in the morning and they are gone by afternoon. The Rittenhouse is perfectly situated in downtown. If you are a walker and the weather is good, all sites are within a twenty minute walk. In addition to Independence Hall, Liberty Bell and Constitution Center you have to run up the front steps to the Philadelphia Museum of Art… you know… the ones Rocky triumphantly ran up. You might even enter the museum and take in a little art. Rocky didn’t do that. Also, within a stone’s throw, The Barnes Museum (wonderful Impressionist collection) and the Rodin Museum. And do not miss the Reading Terminal Market. An crowded explosion of color and hive of activity with meats and fishes and cheeses from floor to ceiling. My only regret is that we didn't have enough time to fully enjoy our room. I will stay here again.

"There is not a better place on Earth"
There is not a better place on earth to have a drink, a meal, spend a night, spend a few nights or get married! We had our wedding at The Rittenhouse last weekend and I could not have dreamed of a better event. Every detail was attended to. I truly believe that the captain and his team could read my mind! 100% satisfaction.

"The Rittenhouse were extremely accommodating and welcoming"
Located directly opposite the also highly-rated, renowned public Rittenhouse Square Park, The Rittenhouse is a beautiful, elegant establishment that perfectly and uncannily blends extravagance and homeliness.
My family of four, together with my parents, travelled on an East Coast tour staying in multiple Starwood hotels but this was by far the highlight. The Rittenhouse were extremely accommodating and welcoming, as well as being completely understanding and receptive of our needs. We were given adjoining rooms - something not one other hotel in a week of travelling through five cities could manage - special welcome gifts for the kids, and special welcome champagne for the adults. Every, and I mean EVERY staff member treated us with genuine respect, charm and professionalism - not to mention the fact that they all addressed us BY NAME upon every entry and exit.
My only complaint? That we stayed only one night. But in that twenty-four hours, with the help of charming general manager Reginald Archambault and his brilliant staff, we had an incredibly relaxing, rewarding and memorable introduction to the City of Brotherly Love. It's money well spent to experience a stay at a hotel of this calibre. Six stars.

"Courteous and helpful staff"
My daughter, granddaughter and I visited Philadelphia overnight and had a lovely time at this fine hotel. Not only was the staff courteous and helpful, they went out of their way to accommodate our 7 year old. When the beds were turned down, they had a small robe and slippers on her bed. We even received delicious popcorn to accompany a free movie. We were driven to dinner in their hotel Jaguar and enjoyed every minute of their wonderful services.

"Easily the best location for any visitor to Philadelphia"
Having grown up in Philly and because I now visit my son at the University of Pennsylvania, I am especially aware of how special this hotel is. First the Rittenhouse Square area is easily the best location for any visitor to Philadelphia. Great shopping, wonderful restaurants, great scenery, and easy access make this hotel the best. Beginning with the wonderful valet services, the staff is very kind and willing to provide great service. This hotel is more like a small luxury brand, despite its size. The check-in is very efficient and navigating through the hotel is very easy. The restaurants are wonderful; I especially recommend the breakfast. All rooms are enormous; they have a pull out sofa for a child and have great bathrooms. Overall it has a great location, great staff, and a very comfortable experience. This is why this is the only place to stay in Philly, plus it has very easy access to UPenn and Drexel.
