The Barnes Foundation Package
Established by Albert C. Barnes in 1922, the Barnes Foundation offers visitors a chance to view masterworks of art in the center of historic Philadelphia. Housed in a newly opened building located in Fairmount Park, the museum showcases a renowned art collection that reflects the intimate viewing experience reminiscent of the original Merion museum’s galleries. Visitors can view one of the world’s finest collections of post-impressionist and early modern works by master artists, such as Picasso, Monet, Degas, Cézanne, Renoir, and Soutine in an intimate setting that encourages one to linger and reflect. The gallery also features a fine collection of Old Master paintings as well as unique sculpture, jewelry, decorative art, and antiques from around the world. The Barnes Foundation museum is open Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 10am-6pm; Friday, 10am-10pm. Closed on Tuesday.
