Pope Francis is coming to Philadelphia this fall, an unprecedented event that will no doubt attract thousands of admirers and those who are religious. The head of the Catholic Church will be visiting the City of Brotherly Love this September 26 and 27. He’ll be joined by tens of thousands of families at The World Meetings of Families Congress, and will also be visiting Independence Mall and hosting mass at Cathedral Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul. - Saturday, September 26 at 4:45 PM: Visit to Independence Mall
- Saturday, September 26 at 5 PM: Festival of Families at the Philadelphia Art Museum
- Sunday, September 27 at 9:30 AM: Meeting with Bishops at St. Martin’s Cathedral in St. Charles Borromeo Seminary
- Sunday, September 27 at 11 AM: Visit to Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility
- Sunday, September 27 at 4 PM: World Meeting of Families Papal Mass at the Philadelphia Art Museum
- Sunday, September 27 at 7 PM: Visit with Organizers, Volunteers and Benefactors of the World Meeting of Families
- Sunday, September 27 at 8 PM: Departure for Rome
