Philadelphia Events: Harry Potter Festival October 17-18

Whether you are a Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor or Slytherin, this magical festival is for you. Celebrate all things Harry Potter this fall as Chestnut Hill turns into a wizardly wonderland. You’ll find a wide range of fun and adventures, for small children, teens and adults. Start with the pub crawl (tickets required), and then make your way through the hay maze. Have your face painted, and then learn how to protect yourself from the dark arts. Attend an exciting Quidditch tournament, and get around the town with free trolley rides on the Knight Bus. Most activities are free, and you’ll also find magicians, street performers, caricature artists, live musicians and fortune tellers. The Harry Potter festival takes place over two days, Friday October 17 and Saturday October 18. Highlights of this all-ages celebration include:
